Starting Point: Geta Forest Station

Mount Kipipiri hike begins at the Geta Forest Station and takes you through thick indigenous forest full of giant ferns and occasional clearings. Wildlife such as colobus monkeys, bushbucks, and various bird species may be spotted along the way, as Kipipiri lies within the protected Aberdare ecosystem.

The last stretch to the top is steep but worth it, with wide views of the Great Rift Valley, Kinangop Plateau, and Lake Naivasha if the weather is clear.
