Our journey commences in Nairobi on the morning of June 1st at 5 am. En route, we’ll make several stops, including Sagana, Nanyuki Equator, Isiolo, and finally Buffalo Springs. Along the way, our overland truck will be abuzz with lively activities such as card games, chess, and other engaging pastimes, accompanied by soothing music for those seeking moments of reflection.
Upon arrival at Samburu National Park around 2 Pm, we’ll dive into an invigorating hour of swimming at the renowned Buffalo Springs, followed by an adventurous evening game drive until 4:30 Pm. Our journey then leads us to Sambache Camp, nestled at the base of Mt. Ololokwe, where we’ll gather around a crackling bonfire to relish delicious meals prepared by our skilled Bush Chef, Sir Dominic. As the night unfolds, we’ll engage in lively conversations, eagerly anticipating the adventures of day two.
Day two begins with an early rise for an exhilarating summit chase. Picture this: ascending the sacred mountain at 4 am, just before dawn breaks—a truly breathtaking experience not to be missed. After a hearty breakfast prepared by our chef, we’ll commence our hike at 4 am, aiming to catch the majestic sunrise atop Mt. Ololokwe by 6:30 am. Don’t forget to browse through captivating snapshots from our previous expeditions to this sacred peak.
Following our summit triumph and moments of bliss atop the mountain, we’ll descend for a delectable brunch before embarking on our journey back to Nairobi. Two days filled with pure adventure and joy await you.
